Well others have ranked “The Suburbs” up there. Also I’ve seen InnerSpeaker ranked no.1, so yeah…. figure that one out. But yeah I wouldn’t describe it as one of music’s best years.

As for the list in general anything pure hiphop I’m going to ignore. Not my thing as you well know. There’s a whole lot out of that list I’ve still to listen to, so I’ll wait before passing judgement. But after listening to some random tracks from some of the artists on that list there’s some that seem to really pull their weight. I’m really liking the Morning Benders at the moment.

Oh, and what did you vote for in JJJ hotest 100?

What did you make of their list? It was 50 albums and 2010 was a pretty weak year, but even still Eminem??? Contra beat out Black Keys? These list more often than not just get my panties in a knot (yes I wear panties, enjoy the visual) and just make me angry. I enjoyed “The Suburbs” but was it the best album of the year? Probably not. It had some snoring bits which I just went “ok that’s not bad, but its not great”.

Will have to come up with my own top 5 or 10 list to set the record straight.

Wow. Seems quite different from the set they played at Falls. I mean yeah the song list was basically the same, but at falls they seemed to have a lot of energy, and the stage setup including lighting was excellent. Actually that was one thing that really sticks in my mind about falls actually. Just how good the Sound & Lighting was done for an outdoor venue.
